Karen has been a member of Onion Creek Senior Center for about seven years and is currently serving her sixth year on the Board. She is actively involved in the Sassy Senior Stampers card class and the Bingo Team, enjoys playing Mexican Train, and helps keep our Facebook page updated with events and photos.
Outside of the Center, Karen is a member of the Buda Bee Quilters and Quilts of Valor, where she helps create and award quilts to Veterans in appreciation of their service.
A 45-year resident of the area, Karen is a retired Hays CISD school nurse with 40 years of nursing experience. She and her husband have three grown children and one very spoiled Chiweenie named Ginger.
